INFORMATION ABOUT A'LEVEL PROGRAMMES

Q. WHAT IS IJMB?
A. IJMBE means Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination, It is a federal government approved programme moderated by Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Prior to the introduction of JAMB, IJMBE is the only Examination body for candidate to gain admission into Nigerian universities. But now, we can say IJMBE is a programme that aims to ease the students admission difficulties, as it’s easier to gain admission with it compared to others like JAMB, A’Level Cambridge, OND etc.
Q. IS IJMBE REAL?
A. Yes, IJMBE is no news again to various Nigerian universities, as it serve as a means of securing admission into 200level. Candidate can confirm this from JAMB brochure.
Q. DOES IJMBE RESULT EXPIRE?
A. Yes, its validity period varies from institution to institution with validity period of up to seven (7) years in some institutions.
Q. CAN WE PAY TUITION FEE IN INSTALLMENTS?
A. Yes, but 50% payment at first. The school fees will be paid at our study centre when you resume for the programme or to our official bank account.
Q. CAN I APPLY WITH A DEFICIENCY IN MY O’ LEVEL
E. Yes, a candidate with deficiency in O level can apply. We can also assist our students in registering for required O level programme whether WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and give adequate training.
F. WHAT OTHER MATERIAL DO I NEED FOR THE A LEVEL PROGRAMME
Ans 1. We give adequate study materials with past questions to assist you during your study. You can get recommended textbooks and past questions at our study centre depending on the three A level Subjects you choose for your choice of course.
Ans 2. You need to come with your food items and other necessary personal belongings(you can get other materials when you get to our centre).
Q. DOES IT MEAN IF I DON’T GET ADMISSION WITH A LEVEL, THE PROGRAMME IS A WASTE
Ans. No, A-Level is an impact you will forever felt in all through your lifetime. Because when you go through it, most things you will be thought in your year one and two will mostly be like a revision to you. If later you didn’t get admission with it, it is never a waste. But, the possibility of you being admitted through A level in Nigeria institutions is very much higher than using JAMB especially with very high score.
Q. WHAT IS THE POSSIBILITY OF GAINING ADMISSION WITH A Level
Ans. Very few students know about A level, Every year Institutions moderating A level registers less A level students (about 20, 000) compared to JAMB that registers over 1.5 million students annually. Comparing to universities, all Nigerian Universities including federal and state universities accept A level for condiseration of admission into 200L in any desired course.
Q. HOW DIFFICULT IS A LEVEL EXAMINATION
A. A LEVEL is more advanced than your WAEC, NECO, NABTEB because it is an external exams with wide syllabus. Our aim is to support interested candidate, and provide necessary assistance to pass in flying colors. Q. HOW CAN I REGISTER FOR A LEVEL
A. Registration for any of our A level programmes (whether JUPEB, IJMBE, NAGCE) can be done online on this website (academy.laureateschools.com.ng) or at our study center, with an application fee of #5,000. You can choose the online payment option or bank payment option.
Q. ARE THERE PEOPLE DEFRAUDING PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES ON A LEVEL
A. Note that many educational institute/Individuals claim to be registering student for A LEVEL, some of these centres are not accredited, so be wise and don’t fall into their scam. Register with us today!
